At the end of February we held the Hall’s of Scotland Sponsors Day for Biggar Rugby Club, on their match day against the Heriots. We have been proud sponsors of the team for over 7 years now watching the team flourish! We had a fantastic turn out for the day with so many people coming along to support the team, despite the crazy weather February had in store. A delicious meal was supplied by our brand Scottish Gourmet marking the launch of their new branding and website (check it out here: http://bit.ly/scottishgourmet) The menu for the day included products from our brand Rannoch Smokery.
As the game began as did the snow, but this did not stop our team! The lads battled through the blizzardy weather to play an incredible game and score a very respectable 14-5 against the Heriots, This brought the Biggar Rams closer towards the chance at winning the title for Tennent’s National League 1 Division and this past weekend saw them clinch the title for their own! On top of this the team also secured promotion to the Tennent’s Premiership next season.
